A funny thing happened on the way to becoming a grown-up.

I know how arrogant that sounds - like everyone who keeps a job and does the grown-up thing must be asleep. That's not what I mean, though. I mean that for me, I was headed down a highly predictable path, and something had to break....

Freedom. Not freedom from something, but rather, freedom to something. Life. Faith. Love. Fearlessness. Self - in the sense that it's in our selves that we encounter God. That's the good stuff.Am I?
I haven't found anything there yet. I think I'm more throwback than that. I dig Richard Sibbes, Athanasius, Augustine, & Thomas Kelly.
But the truth is that I spend more time watching Scrubs and SportsCenter than I spend reading.
